How We Review Games

Transparent testing, rigorous analysis—that's the Pixel Verdict promise. Every review begins with hands-on gameplay, progresses through standardized performance benchmarking, and culminates in a comprehensive assessment balancing technical merit with creative vision.

Our methodology prioritizes honesty and reproducibility. We test on verified hardware configurations, document frame rates and optimization patterns, and apply consistent scoring criteria across all genres and budgets.

Performance Analysis

Performance testing is conducted on a standardized rig: NVIDIA RTX 4070, AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D, 32 GB DDR4, and NVMe SSD. We target 1440p at 60 FPS minimum for AAA titles and document optimization patterns across lower-tier configurations.

Every review includes frame rate averages, 1% low measurements, and GPU/CPU utilization profiles. We also assess DLSS, FSR, and ray-tracing impact to provide readers with actionable upgrade guidance.

Metric Target
Resolution 1440p native
Frame Rate 60 FPS average
GPU Memory 8 GB VRAM
CPU Threads 8+ cores
Storage NVMe SSD
